Get ready to be part of something bigger. And we mean it… 2026 is OUR LARGEST GATHERING YET!

The Vermont Recreation and Parks Association (VRPA) and the Vermont Trails and Greenways Council (VTGC), with support from American Trails, are thrilled to host the 83rd Vermont Conference on Parks, Trails, and Recreation—the state’s most dynamic gathering of changemakers, innovators, and outdoor leaders.

This isn’t just a conference—it’s where Vermont’s recreation community comes alive. It’s where ideas spark, partnerships form, and real impact begins. Join a powerful network of volunteers and professionals—from program directors and fundraisers to field staff and administrators—who are shaping the future of parks, trails, and recreation. These are the people creating unforgettable experiences, building and maintaining the places we love, and expanding access to the outdoors for every Vermonter.

Come connect, get inspired, and be part of the movement driving recreation forward.
